TRUSTS AND ESTATES AND NOT-FOR-PROFIT ENTITIES
Trusts and Estates
The firm's trust and estates lawyers serve the estate planning needs of our domestic and international clients. These needs range from basic will preparation to sophisticated tax planning for several generations of families which have acquired significant wealth. In addition to income, estate and gift tax planning, we administer estate and trusts and advise clients in other personal matters, such as prenuptial agreements. We also have extensive experience with respect to litigation of trust and estate issues. Our clients include both United States and non-United States citizens and residents. The first step in analyzing any client's trusts and estates needs is completion of a trusts and estate questionnaire. For a copy of our trusts and estates questionnaire, click here.
We provide extensive advice and representation with respect to charitable organizations. Our services include creating not-for-profit entities, obtaining federal and state tax exemptions, advice and representation with respect to all phases of management and administration of charities, including employment issues, service contracts, establishing charitable gift programs, obtaining bequests, information retains and reports. We also assist and train development staff of charitable organizations in creating and administering defined giving programs.
